On friday I had the wonderful privilege of being wedding photographer for Kate & Al who tied the knot in the beautiful town of Thornton Hough in the Wirral. Such an ideal setting for a wedding. Friday morning the weather wasn’t so great but by the afternoon it had stopped raining and so we were able to get some great photographs! The weather was still very cold but it was definitely worth braving the cold for the photographs we created together.
Thornton Manor was a beautiful venue and it was great to also taste the wonderful food as Kate & Al provided a full meal for me and Laura. Thank you very much! It was gorgeous! It was also great to catch up with Suraj and Dawn who were one of my first wedding clients. They were also at the wedding.
Enjoy your wonderful honeymoon and the photographs Kate & Al. Many Congratulations!

The finishing touches

I really love it when a bride chooses to have a long veil! I think you can see why…

Meanwhile the guys were over at the Seven Stars pub in Thornton Hough for some dutch courage…

Al looked very smart…

We had time for a few portraits at the church after the ceremony…

After a few portraits it was time to head for Inglewood manor to start the party!

The tastefully prepared room for the wedding breakfast.

I love it when I can photograph at a wedding and there is a powerful cloudy sky. It really adds drama to the photographs.

I have a new favorite wedding photograph! The veil, the kilt, the sky… I just love it!

Very nice I love your flash photography skills. I really like the photo of the bride with her hand on her hip.

The first one uses a video light and the second one uses a 580ex2 and pocket wizard tt5 setup.
The video light was also used for the ring shot
