Cheshire Wedding Photographer : The best of 2009!

2009 was a wonderful year for Tobiah Tayo Photography! I was priveledged to spend many very special moments with my clients and create really lots of very special memories. At the beginning of the year I met the bautiful Laura who is now my girlfriend/assistant! She really is my support and inspiration and without her I would be useless to say the least!

Half way through the year I got a little sick with Glandular fever but battled through all pilled up! I just want to say a special thank you to all of my clients and show you some of my favourite photographs of 2009! We already have about 20 weddings for this year so here is to more wonderful memories!

So in no particular order here are some of my favourites for 2009!

This photograph is one of my absolute favourites. This photo was taken about 5:3o pm in the middle of summer. Ben proposed to Rose in this park and so it was really nice to have the engagement photography session there as well. By using flash and a small aperture we make the sky appear a vivd blue. I love how the grass becomes a silhouette.

This photograph was taken at Meols Hall In Southport. A beautiful wedding venue for any couple getting married. We set a flash behind Dave & Helen which created a nice backlight and mood to the photograph.

Stephen & Penny were married at Arley Hall and gardens in Cheshire. The gardens there are absolutely beautiful and by taking this wedding photograph under the cover of trees we get a beautiful soft light.

During the wedding breakfast I like to take the wedding rings- not so I can make a sharp exit but so that I can take photographs like this. These kind of photos look great in your wedding photo album.

This image is rather special to me. We were photographing an engagement session for Ben & Rose and the evening sun was just glorious. It was creating beautiful light. Having your photo session at this time really is a good idea as the light is just so yummy! Anyway to get this image I nestled into the grass and angles the camera so it let some of that wonderful light directly into the camera. This creates a wonderful lens flare. I also added a texture to the photograph.

This photograph was taken at the wedding of Peter and Fay. I love how simple it is. By using one flash behind the couple of their first dance it creates a beautiful photograph. I particularly like this as it shows any part of the wedding day can make a nice photo.

This was another engagement photography session. The photograph was taken in Knutsford, Cheshire down the side of the Belle Epoque Brasserie where they got married. I like this photo as it shows how even the simplest of dark alleyways can be used for a wonderful portrait photograph.

This series of wedding photographs taken at Soughton Hall in Mold of Faye really exude elegance.

We all know that this is what us guys do best on a wedding day! Whilst the bride is making sure that her hair is just so the lads are down the pub taming those last minute nerves! By using selective focus on this image we highlight the groom soon to be married!

As a manchester wedding photographer I love to take photographs like this. They’re really fun relaxed and make great canvas prints. The brides veil really draws the eye in with leading lines.

I love this cheshire wedding photography taken at Carden Park. I love the shot of the beautiful bride Lisa walking away although it does leave you asking where is the groom?!

We found this cool wall near emma’s mums house in manchester. It works well with emma’s alternative look and this kind of photography would great either for manchester wedding photography or manchester portrait photography.
