One of the great things about being a Manchester Wedding Photographer or Cheshire Wedding Photographer is being able to travel throughout the Northwest seeing its wonderful landscape filled with cool towns, Stately Homes and inspiring countryside. Here are just a few selections of venues that I have photographed weddings at. This page was designed to show you more than simply searching google for a wedding venue would produce. It is based upon the real life experiences of a wedding photographer. Arley Hall & Gardens – Cheshire wedding photography

A beautiful wedding venue set in Cheshire. This venue is one of the best in Cheshire. With Wonderful gardens providing the background for your perfect wedding day and perfect wedding photographs. The house which is used for the wedding breakfast is equally impressive as the gardens. And for the evening wedding reception a small walk to another more modern converted barn completes the perfect day. A Truly recommended wedding venue.

The Belle Epoque Brasserie - Knutsford, Cheshire Wedding Photography

Located in the town of Knutsford, Cheshire the Belle Epoque is an intimate wedding venue. Knutsford is an exclusive Cheshire town near Tatton Park.  The wonderful thing for the photographer at the Belle Epoque is being able to walk through Knutsford for some really cool quirky photographs. A Very popular venue for a small intimate wedding of around 40-70 people.

Clough Manor – Wedding Photography

Clough Manor is located in Saddleworth. A mid sized venue comprising of hotel rooms reception room and bar area which is separate to the recption room. The surroundings are very nice with lovely fields around and about and given time I imagine brilliant vantage points can be found for taking photographs overlooking the area. May be worth a photography stop off enroute although a good wedding photographer will be able to create lots of photographs from the well presented grounds.

Cranage Hall – Cheshire Wedding Photography

Cranage Hall is a wonderful venue set in Holmes Chapel – Cheshire near to Sandbach. The exterior is impressive with wedding couples being welcomed with the red carpet. Inside decorations are modern and contemporary whilst inkeeping with the building which apparently used to be a mental home – but don’t let that put you off. In fact you’d be mad to let that put you off! If you chose to have your reception here I would suggest having it in the Summer time as the grounds look a little dead for photographs during the winter… Alternatively your wedding photographer and you could choose an alternative venue for photographs.

Great John Street Hotel - Manchester Wedding Photography

A converted School House Located in Manchester City Centre. The Great John Street Hotel is actually right next to Granada Studios and from the rooftop you can see the Coronation Street Set!  This is the perfect wedding venue for your intimate wedding of 40-60 day guests and maybe a few more in the evening. With modern, contemporary decoration it really does make for a relaxed wedding day. It’s also located very close to Castefield which is a great Urban Area for wedding photographs that are Unique. This venue is very popular with celebrities for various parties and there was also an infamous Manchester United Afterparty here once upon a time…

Inn At Whitewell – Clitheroe Wedding Photography

A lovely wedding venue which is set in beautiful countryside overlooking the lake you can see above. The evening reception is set in a marquee. A Very beautiful venue. For wedding photographs there are many fields and with just  a quick drive in the wedding car you can be overlooking the whole valley for spectacular photographs. There is also a church located right next door for those wanting to get married in a church.

Manchester Whitworth Art Gallery – Manchester wedding photography

Set on the outskirts of the Manchester City centre – the Whitworth art gallery might not be your first idea for a wedding reception location. The whitworth art gallery is well equipped to handle weddings however. Interesting exhibits to keep your guests interested and plenty of space make this venue good for large weddings. The art gallery is also located next to a park which although is very basic has plenty of tree cover for nice wedding photographs. Possibly a venue where you may choose somewhere en route for photographs.

Meols Hall – Southport Wedding Photography

One of my favourite wedding venues for wedding photography. I’ve posted a couple of images to show cool it is!  The wonderful thing about Meols hall is that every part of the venue looks beautiful. From the room that is used for the ceremony to the grounds.  At some venues there are some nice areas but unfortunately these are some not so nice areas around these. This is not so with Meols Hall. It’s picture perfect from every angle!

The small town where Meols Hall is located is also very cool for photographs. Highly Recommended Wedding Venue.

West Tower Country Hotel – Liverpool  Wedding Photography

The West Tower is a Lovely Venue Set in Aughton. The photograph above shows the house which is bigger than it looks and its a great venue. They also cook a mean steak. Photography oppurtunities are not limited to just the grounds with nice country roads, stone walls and fields of hay very close. Some may consider a photography detour enroute to the venue. Suitable for up to around 70 day guests and 100 evening guests.
