meols hall - southport
Meols Hall - Southport is one of my favourite venues for wedding photography.
Meols Hall is Southport's historical manor house dating back to the early 12th Century.
Set in one hundred acres of private park land close to the picturesque village of Churchtown, this is one of the oldest settlements on the Lancashire coast. Situated within the grounds of Meols Hall you will find the Tithe Barn which provides one of the most beautiful settings for a wedding anywhere in England.
Modern lighting gives a pleasant glow to the interior of the building. Up to one hundred and twenty guests can be catered for at a wedding reception, with facilities for an additional sixty guests in the evening. The cobbled courtyard and restored coach house make an ideal open-air venue for greeting your guests (weather permitting).
Winter weddings are their speciality in the four hundred year old candlelit Tithe Barn.
The wonderful thing about Meols hall is that every part of the venue looks beautiful. From the room that is used for the ceremony to the grounds.
At some venues there are some nice areas but unfortunately these are some not so nice areas around these. This is not so with Meols Hall. Its picture perfect from every angle!
The small town called churchtown, where Meols Hall is located is also very cool for photographs. A Highly Recommended Wedding Venue.
