Rachel & Mark – Fountains Abbey & Summer Fete Wedding Reception
This is the absolutely amazing summer fete wedding of Rachel & Mark who were married at Fountains Abbey and held their wedding party in a wonderful barn at Plumpton Hall in Studley Roger, Ripon.
Mark is a writer and Rachel works for Cancer Research UK. Both are very creative and loving people which can be seen in the little touches and care taken in their wedding day. Mark and Rachel put so much thought and time into their wedding day to make it as enjoyable as possible for themselves and their guests. There were lots of things to keep younger, as well as older, guests entertained with bubbles wands and fete games. There were so many fabulous details that made this wedding extra special. From the vintage gramophones they had at the drinks reception, provided by Gramophone DJs, to the coconut shy and summer fete games. Then there was the amazing bunting! It took Rachel 4 months, 2 hours every night just to make all of the bunting for their wedding. Everything came together to create one of the most memorable days we have had the privilege of photographing. Guests were asked to bring along a baked desert to enter into the “Great Gluten-Free Wedding Bake Off”! Judged by Rachel and Mark themselves, tough job I know, a worthy winner was picked and presented with a little trophy after the speeches.
Rachel wore a stunning 1920s inspired gown from Whistles and Mark a very dapper tweed suit.
