On Sunday we photographed a wonderful Gaye Holud  A Gaye Holud for those who don’t know is a Bengali Ceremony where the groom’s family – minus the groom himself – go in procession to the bride’s home. They carry with them gifts for the bride such as jewellry, wedding decorations such as turmeric paste, cosmetics, sweets and other gifts.

It was such a wonderful, happy event with beautiful colours and brilliant music and yummy food! We can’t wait to photograph the wedding this coming weekend!
