Being a wedding photographer in Tuscany and Florence is truly a dream come true! It’s the perfect destination for a romantic and unforgettable wedding celebration.
Our journey in Tuscany began when we had the honour of photographing the beautiful wedding of a lovely couple at a stunning villa in the rolling hills of Chianti. From that moment, we fell in love with the charm of Tuscany, its picturesque landscapes, and its timeless elegance. Since then, we’ve been fortunate enough to photograph many weddings across this breathtaking region, from Florence’s iconic venues to the tranquil countryside.
The rolling hills, historic villas, and charming cobbled streets of Florence provide an enchanting backdrop for weddings. The grandeur of the Duomo, the stunning Ponte Vecchio, and the romantic views over the Arno River make Florence one of the most sought-after wedding destinations in the world. Tuscany is equally filled with rustic charm, featuring vineyards, olive groves, and ancient castles, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for any celebration.
We are English-speaking wedding photographers based in the UK, traveling to Italy for every wedding we capture. Our prices are all-inclusive, covering all travel costs, so there are no surprises along the way.
We always make sure to arrive a couple of days before the wedding to get familiar with the venue and surroundings. We also love to capture pre-wedding or engagement photos in some of Tuscany’s most picturesque spots, helping you feel at ease in front of the camera.
Tuscany, with its rolling hills, charming vineyards, and historic villages, provides the perfect setting for film wedding photography. The natural beauty and rich colors of the Tuscan landscape enhance the timeless qualities of film, capturing the essence of your wedding day with a soft, vintage feel that digital simply can’t match. From intimate moments in rustic villas to sweeping views of olive groves and sun-kissed fields, film photography beautifully preserves the warmth and romance of your celebration. Tuscany’s stunning scenery and the unique, timeless nature of film come together to create photographs that tell a heartfelt, enduring story of your love.
Being a wedding photographer in Tuscany will take you to many beautiful places around this region. One of our favourite experiences was photographing a recent wedding in Florence.
The ability to capture the bustling atmosphere that only Florence can offer was amazing.
Our couple had chosen to marry in the centre of Florence at Palazzo Vecchio. Palazzo Vecchio is a popular venue choice for weddings in Florence as it is so iconic. You can marry in the opulent 'Sala Rossa' and then wander through the streets to your chosen wedding reception venue. This is exactly what one of our Italian couples did!
The newlyweds, along with their family and friends, paraded past the world famous Duomo and through narrow Florentine streets. They had locals wishing them well, calling out 'Auguri!', meaning 'best wishes', as they passed. They then held their Tuscan wedding reception in a hidden courtyard in the centre of Florence.
We absolutely love outdoor weddings! The gardens of the villas in Tuscany are often filled with lemon trees and orange trees, our favourites! All of these elements really capture the essence of this wonderful Italian region and make the Tuscan wedding experience unique.
Wherever we are in the world, our approach is the same. We always strive to be unobtrusive, warm and professional.
Our approach to wedding photography in Tuscany carries this same hallmark.
Throughout most wedding days, we photograph natural, candid moments between our couples and their guests. These are always our favourite moments. Such moments are even at better Tuscan weddings with that warm light and ambience that is synonymous with Tuscany.
Our ability to photograph in a reportage style is what attracts many of our clients to commission us for their wedding. Our couples love natural, documentary, reportage wedding photography that we can create through our photographs. We always aim to capture the smallest of details and moments.
For us, being able to capture an embrace between the mother of the bride and her daughter, or the bursts of laughter between guests during the speeches is what we love most.
Of course, we also love creating unique and dramatic wedding portraits too. We are very versatile and work together seamlessly to make epic portraits. We use can use natural or studio lighting to give our photography an editorial and professional look. Please look through some of our galleries and blog for examples.
