Returning time and time again to one of our favourite Shropshire wedding venues, Iscoyd Park, is always a delight! This time we were here to photograph Andrea & Phil’s intimate wedding. Their wedding day was everything both Andrea and Phil wanted. Just surrounded by their closest friends and family, everyone they wanted to be there was there too. The brilliant Maxine Smith did Andrea’s make-up on the day and the Mother of the Bride’s too. Every bride Maxine “makes up” always looks like the best version of herself. Our beloved Iscoyd team were busy ensuring everything was running smoothly as the elegant bouquets by Selena Godsal were delivered up to the bridal suite.
Andrea & Phil had chosen the Drawing Room for their civil ceremony and wedding breakfast. Of course, we adore ceremonies held in usual space of the Garden Room but for an intimate wedding with fewer guests, the Drawing Room was the perfect choice. With music from the Solo Players quartet and readings from friends following the vows, the ceremony was perfect.
The sun was shining for the drinks reception on the lawns and sunlight twinkling through the trees made for some lovely portraits of our even lovelier couple. After dinner, we LOVED how Phil and Andrea left in style! Deciding that they wanted to start their honeymoon immediately and forgo an evening reception, they were collected by a Royles Royce Phantom and driven straight to Manchester Airport! One of the best examples doing things your way for your wedding day.
