Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful wedding of Alex and Bradley, wfrom London, who met during their university days. Their love story led them to a breathtaking destination wedding in Ireland, and what a celebration it was!
Ireland: The Perfect Destination Wedding Location
Ireland has long been a top choice for destination weddings, and Alex and Bradley couldn’t agree more. Its lush landscapes, rich history, and warm hospitality make it an ideal place to say “I do.” The couple’s decision to exchange vows here was a testament to Ireland’s timeless charm.
Castle Leslie Estate: A Fairytale Setting
The venue of choice for Alex and Bradley’s fairytale wedding was none other than the illustrious Castle Leslie Estate. Steeped in history and romance, this estate has hosted weddings for generations, including the legendary Sir Paul McCartney. Nestled within the estate is the picturesque ‘Glaslough’ or Green Lake, known for its legendary monster pike and captivating beauty.
A Joyous Ceremony at Saint Salvator’s Church
The wedding ceremony took place in Saint Salvator’s Church within the Castle Leslie Estate, specifically in the charming village of Donagh, Glaslough. It was a joyous and intimate church ceremony filled with love and laughter. The couple exited the chapel to be showered in confetti and lead their guests to Castle Leslie.

Ireland’s weather can be unpredictable, and this day was no exception. From glorious sun to torrential rain, we embraced every moment to capture stunning photographs inside the majestic Castle Leslie.
