Mary and Matt’s Wedding at Tower Hill Barns in North Wales
Mary and Matt’s special day was one to remember! This was the first time for us visiting Tower Hill Barns and we instantly fell in love with this fantastic gem of a venue. Nestled in the rolling hills of North Wales, Tower Hill barns is a wonderful setting for a rustic and romantic wedding ceremony.
The day began with Mary and her bridesmaids getting ready in the charming bridal suite and preparation room. The room was filled with laughter and excitement as they put the finishing touches on their hair and makeup. Meanwhile, Matt and his groomsmen were preparing for the day at a local B&B where they enjoyed several pre wedding drinks to calm the nerves!
As the ceremony began, guests were greeted by the stunning natural beauty of the venue. Tower Hill Barns, a converted 18th-century barn, was decorated with an array of wildflowers and greenery, creating a romantic and rustic ambiance. Mary walked down the aisle, arm-in-arm with her father, looking stunning in her white lace gown and carrying a bouquet of wildflowers.
The ceremony, was very personal. Mary & Matt had humanist ceremony with handfasting, and we absolutely loved how their wedding rings were passed between each wedding guests as every one in attendance gave their blessing and well wishes on their marriage. Mary & Matt’s love for each other was evident for all to see, in the way they looked into each other’s eyes as they exchanged rings.
After the ceremony, guests were invited to enjoy delicious canapés, and a wonderful meal and drinks in the reception area. The barn was beautifully decorated with fairy lights and candles, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Guests enjoyed speeches from the couple and their loved ones, as well as a delicious three-course meal.
As the evening progressed, Matt & Mary had their first dance outside in the courtyard! It was an absolutely perfect moment, as the sun set. The party then made it’s way inside to the dance floor where guests danced the night away to a live band.
Mary and Matt’s wedding at Tower Hill Barns in North Wales really was an unforgettable day. The people, the location, the atmosphere – everything was just perfect.
