As a London wedding photographer, I have been fortunate enough to photograph many beautiful weddings in stunning locations around the world. Recently, I had the honour of photographing the wedding of a lovely couple, at 10-11 Carlton House Terrace in the bustling city of London.

Wedding Welcome Party at Annabel’s in Mayfair

The welcome party for the wedding was held at the exclusive private members club called Annabel’s in Mayfair London. The guests enjoyed champagne and a private dining experience, and there were some heartfelt speeches to start the weekend of festivities.

Pre Wedding Photos at Sofitel London

The next day, I photographed R & C getting ready for their big day at the luxurious Sofitel hotel in London. The excitement was palpable as the couple prepared to tie the knot in the heart of the city. The groom prepared for the wedding surrounded by his groomsmen. He wore black tie with his suit designed by Tom Ford and paired this with Christian Louboutin shoes. Once the groom was suited and booted he walked over to Carlton house terrace for some pre wedding photographs before the wedding ceremony.

The bride enjoyed a relaxed morning of preparations with her bridesmaids and mother. The bride had 2 wedding dresses – the first was stunning gown designed in collaboration between Pronovias & Kleinfeld bridal. After some wedding photographs at Sofitel, London, the bride and her mother left by black cab for the wedding ceremony at Carlton House Terrace.

Wedding Ceremony at 10-11 Carlton House Terrace

The wedding ceremony was held at 10-11 Carlton House Terrace, a stunning Georgian building in the heart of London overlooking St James’s Park. The history of the terrace dates back to the 1820s when it was built by architect John Nash for the Prince Regent. Today, it is a popular venue for weddings and events, and its grand architecture provides a perfect backdrop for London wedding photos.

London is an excellent location for wedding photography, with its rich history and iconic landmarks providing endless photo opportunities. From the historic buildings of Westminster to the bustling streets of Soho, London offers a unique and diverse backdrop for capturing unforgettable wedding photos.

Drinks Reception in private London gardens

After the wedding ceremony, R & C enjoyed a drinks reception in the private gardens at Carlton House Terrace before taking editorial portrait photos in the streets of London. We wandered around some of London’s nearby streets & iconic landmarks, capturing beautiful images that truly reflected the couple’s love for each other and the city.

Night time wedding photos in London

The couple then enjoyed their wedding breakfast followed by speeches before we took some stunning night time wedding photos in London. The city’s iconic landmarks provided a perfect backdrop for these photos, and we were able to capture some breathtaking shots of the couple against the city lights.

Finally, the couple enjoyed their first dance and partied until the early hours of the morning, making unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime. As a wedding photographer, it was a pleasure to capture such a special day for R & C, and I wish them a lifetime of happiness together.

Wedding Photographer Privacy

R & C were a charming couple who wanted their privacy respected and chose for their identities not to be shared online. I absolutely love to support clients privacy wishes and in this ever socially connected world it can be so nice to keep such a special event private.
