We had the privilege of photographing R & M’s destination wedding in St Andrews, Scotland, and it was fantastic experience filled with wonderful people. R & M had to reschedule their wedding day due to covid lockdowns, but it was well worth the wait!
R & M chose Scotland as their destination wedding location as they both attended university in St Andrews, making it the perfect location for them to tie the knot. The groom looked perfect in his traditional kilt, while the bride looked stunning in her simple yet elegant wedding dress by designer Charlie Brear.
The wedding ceremony took place at the historic St Salvator’s Chapel, which dates back to the fifteenth century. It has an interesting history and is known for its beautiful stained-glass windows and intricate stonework. It was a beautiful and intimate ceremony, with the couple surrounded by family and friends in this beautiful setting. How well did the little ones do as they walked down the aisle ahead of the bride?!
After the ceremony, we took some stunning photographs in the St Salvator’s Quad, which was perfect for wedding photography. The beautiful architecture of the buildings created a romantic and classic backdrop for the couple’s portraits and formal family group photographs.
We then moved to the beach near the Old Course Hotel, which provided a beautiful setting for more photographs. The beautiful blue skies and the sea breeze added to the perfect atmosphere of the day, and we captured some truly beautiful moments and relaxed wedding photos.
The couple enjoyed their wedding breakfast, which was followed by heartfelt speeches by their family and friends. The atmosphere was full of love, joy, and laughter, making it an unforgettable day for everyone involved.
In conclusion, it was an incredible experience to be a part of R & M’s special day. As a St Andrews, Scotland wedding photographer, capturing the love and joy of couples on their wedding day is something that I cherish. If you are looking for a destination wedding location, I highly recommend St Andrews, Scotland. It is a beautiful and historic town that is perfect for creating unforgettable memories. And if you’re looking for a wedding photographer, I would be honored to capture the magic of your big day.
