Had an absolutely wondeful day today at Roy & Lindsay’s wedding. They were so relaxed, so fun and such happy people to be around. A biiiig special thanks also go to the amazing Peter Lawson of the Lawson Photography. When Peter heard that Laura was really sick and couldn’t make the wedding he volunteered to come along and help out which was really really cool. I have followed Peter’s work for a long time and I one day hoped I would get to second shoot for him! So appreciative that he came and worked with me today!

Thanks re the ring shot… It’s a very quick setup shot and an easy way to do ring shots… All you need is..

1) Macro Lens
2) tripod
3) video light or consistent light
4) camera with live view…

then stick it in live view and move your light around until you like what you see… takes about 30 seconds although I keep playing for 10 mins until i find one I love… I have another cool one coming up in this set.

Thanks so much for helping me out Pete. You were amazing and was a privilege to work with you! It’s not the flash that made your arm sore its all of that 1.2L glass weighing you down and trying to keep it steady in near pitch black conditions! hahaha.
