Michael & Amila – Manchester Town Hall Wedding Photography

You may remember Mike and Mil from their engagement session here . I have been looking forward to their wedding for a long time now – being the first wedding I have photographed at Manchester Town Hall.  Amila,her bridesmaids and mum were over at the Midland Hotel getting ready after having an early morning hair appointment. That’s where we first caught up with them.

Amila was keen to show her outfits 😀

And we were keen to photograph them! A few detail photos – I got to do two shoe shots as Amila had two outfits with two paris of shoes 😀 I absolutely loved this table as a texture.

We then head outside the town hall for some portraits around Manchester.

The arches are such an amazing place for photographs. It takes time not to have people in the background though 🙂

I love to use plain backgrounds in my photos and this one worked perfectly.

Before the meal the speeches were given…

Everybody really enjoyed the speeches…

Michael’s speech was perfect as he described his love for Amila.

After the meal we used the wonderful architecture of Manchester Town Hall for a few more portraits…

After Amila’s costume change and cutting of the cake it was time to dance!
