Manchester Hilton Cloud 23 Photography Workshop – Cheshire Wedding Photographer
It’s been a very busy week for Tobiah Tayo Photography. Originally it was supposed to be a week off- a chance to recharge batteries (of my camera and myself!)! Thanks to the ash cloud however a place became available on the Damien Lovegrove Cherish the dress workshop at the Hilton Hotel in manchester. Also thanks to the ash cloud I was asked to photograph to stand in last minute weddings – one in Yorkshire and the other in Anglesey , North Wales so it was far removed from a week off! But great non the less!
The course was taught by Damien and Chris Hanley another successful photographer based around Manchester. I’ve always wanted to shoot in the Beetham tower Hilton hotel manchester so put my name down when I heard about the last minute availability. I’ve also found Damien’s tuition DVD’s to be of great value in the past also.
The Cherish the dress photo shoot is another take on the American Trash the dress. Damien and Chris’ slogan is ” Let the dress be the star not the victim!” We Brits are after all far too sentimental to go and destroy a beautiful dress. The shoot focuses on creating art of a bride and groom or lady in their favourite garments. If you are interested in such a photography shoot be sure to contact me!
Anyway we spent the day at the Hilton Hotel and captured some great images. I can’t wait to photograph again there now and maybe a real wedding next time! Here are some of the images from the day.
